“Proven in Practice”: Pilot project launches for service members and veterans seeking instructor roles
Service members’ motivation, safety, and survivability — as well as their battlefield effectiveness — are directly shaped by the quality of training. Instructors are a key pillar of this system.
To reinforce training quality across the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defence, in cooperation with the Charity Foundation “Come Back Alive”, the Lobby X recruitment platform, and the Ground Forces Command, has launched the “Proven in Practice” project.
The project aims to attract service members and veterans to training centers who are willing to serve as instructors and share their knowledge and experience with others.
Eligibility for participation in the project
Under this initiative, active-duty service members of the Ground Forces and veterans with combat experience are invited to apply for instructor roles in Basic General Military Training (BGMT) and across a range of disciplines, including tactical medicine, engineering and topography, as well as qualified instructors in tactical and weapons training.
Where instructors will serve
Under the project, personnel will be transferred from Ground Forces units to serve at the following centers:
- School of Basic General Military Training (BGMT);
- School of Instructor Training;
- Military School named after Colonel Yevhen Konovalets.
