Media representatives accreditation
The Armed Forces of Ukraine carry out the accreditation of representatives of national and international media to provide informational support for Ukraine's defense measures in the face of armed aggression by the russian federation and to deliver timely, truthful, and comprehensive information about russia's war crimes.
To receive an electronic press card, a media representative must fill out a form and submit the required documents listed in the form. This form should be sent to [email protected].
The form must be submitted with the following attachements:
a scanned copy of passport (pages 1-3) or ID card;
a scanned copy of a media representative's certificate (not mandatory for persons who provide informational support to the work of foreign journalists);
a request by the media entity to grant accreditation;
a high-resolution photo of an applicant (for documents).
The media representatives will be provided with an electronic press card upon document verification, which they are show to law enforcement and military authorities upon request.
In case of violation of the rules of work in the combat zone or transfer of the press card to another person, accreditation may be canceled or suspended until the circumstances are clarified.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine, other components of the defense forces, commanders of military units or their authorized representatives in charge of working with the media are not responsible for the safety, life and health, ensuring the return, as well as issues related to life, health and property insurance of media representatives.
