Nearly half a million UAVs and other equipment delivered to the military through DOT-Chain Defence

In 2026, the military has already received 485,000 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other equipment worth a total of UAH 31.4 billion through DOT-Chain Defence, a defense marketplace developed by the Defence Procurement Agency DOT.
DOT-Chain Defence is an additional mechanism for supplying the military, complementing the state’s centralized procurement system. Using allocated budget funds, combat units can independently select and quickly order the exact capabilities they need to accomplish missions in their sector of the front.
The platform currently offers nearly 800 items from more than 200 Ukrainian manufacturers.
The military chooses — the state delivers
The marketplace operates on a simple principle: the military chooses — the state delivers. Defence Procurement Agency DOT handles contracting, payments, and logistics. The entire process is digital, eliminating paperwork and lengthy approval procedures.
The average time from order placement to delivery is nine days.
DOT-Chain Defence is also integrated with Brave1 Market, enabling military units to order additional drones and equipment using ePoints through the “Army of Drones Bonus” program.
New capabilities for combat units
DOT-Chain Defence now enables orders not only for drones and equipment, but also for ammunition and drone-dropped munitions. This feature was introduced in response to requests from the military.
Advance payments to manufacturers
The Defence Procurement Agency, DOT, acting on an initiative of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, has also introduced an advance payment mechanism for manufacturers.
Effective drone manufacturers will now be eligible to receive advance payments. The objective is to increase the availability of working capital across the sector and speed up the production and delivery of technologies to combat units.
Scaling up deliveries to the front line
In parallel, the state is scaling up centralized support for the military. Delivery volumes in 2026 already significantly exceed last year’s levels.
In the first four months of the year, the military saw a significant increase in deliveries of fiber-optic-controlled FPV drones, heavy bombers, reconnaissance fixed-wing drones, middle-strike and deep-strike drones, Mavic drones, light bombers, interceptors to counter Shahed-type UAVs, and other technological capabilities.
Acting on the President’s directive, we are continuing the rapid transformation of the military supply system. Our objective is to make procurement for the Ukrainian military the most transparent and effective in the world.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defence reported that the Defence Procurement Agency DOT had completed the largest procurement by value in the agency’s history, contracting 155 mm long-range artillery rounds.
