In July, the Ministry of Defence authorized for operational use 9 new electronic warfare systems

During July 2025, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine authorized for operational use in the Defence Forces 9 new electronic warfare (EW) and signals intelligence (SIGINT)/electronic intelligence (ELINT) systems. 90% of the new systems are products of the Ukrainian defence industry.

This was reported by the MoD’s Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment.

The Ministry of Defence continues to replenish the arsenal of EW means in the Defence Forces with new systems that meet frontline requirements. In modern warfare, the success of military missions largely depends on the effectiveness of the EW and SIGINT/ELINT systems used by our defenders. 

In the first seven months of 2025, the defence ministry authorized for operational use almost 80 EW and SIGINT/ELINT systems; last year, over 150. Almost all of them are developments by Ukrainian defence manufacturers.
