Dmytro Klimenkov

Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine

Dmytro Klimenkov was born on April 3, 1981 in Kyiv. 

He has a university degree. 

In 2002, Dmytro Klimenkov graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" with a degree in electrical engineering. In 2004, he earned a qualification of energy manager and economist from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, specializing in energy management and business economics. 

From 2004 to 2005, he was employed as an engineer-inspector at the Electrical Energy Audit Department of the Center for Technical Audit and Contract Control at the Kyivenergo Joint-Stock Energy Supply Company. 

Between October 2005 and April 2008, he was employed as an energy engineer at Ericsson subsidiary that was 100% owned by a foreign company. 

From 2008 to 2011 - head of the Design and Construction Unit of the Network Deployment and Integration Department at Ericsson subsidiary, which was 100% owned by a foreign company. 

From 2011 to 2012 - project manager for GSM mobile network construction at Ericsson subsidiary that was 100% owned by a foreign company. 

From 2013 to 2020 - deputy director, head of the Air Fleet Logistics Department at Ukraine International Airlines. 

From 2020 to 2022 - director of infrastructure and logistics at Ukraine International Airlines. 

From 2022 to 2023 - First Deputy Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine. 

From July 2023 to October 2023 - commercial director of Ukrtransgaz Joint-Stock Company. 

October 5, 2023 - the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Dmytro Klimenkov as Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
