Sergiy Boyev
Deputy Minister of Defense for European IntegrationSergiy Boyev was born on March 25, 1983, in Alchevsk, Luhansk region.
His educational background includes a bachelor's degree in International Economics from the Faculty of International Economics and Management at the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman (2004), and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
His career began in investment banking, where he worked in credit markets and investment banking teams at JP Morgan Chase and Credit Suisse from 2004 to 2009.
From 2010 to 2014, he served as a consultant and project manager at the Ukrainian office of The Boston Consulting Group.
Between 2016 and 2018, Boyev held the position of Business Development Director at PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannya.
He then moved to Naftogaz Ukraine, where from 2018 to 2022 he led departments responsible for strategy development, business analytics, investment management, and business development.
From May 2023 to October 2024, he served as Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine for European integration.
On October 11, 2024, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for European integration.
Boyev has been awarded the Order of Merit, III class.
