The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has announced the initiation of military (experimental) tests for new models of three items of military gear and clothing intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

These include:

• Camouflage suit (Type 2);

• Winter headwear;

• Winter special suit.

“Our goal is to supply service members in the Ukrainian Armed Forces with trustworthy and up-to-date gear and clothing that align with the genuine demands of the army. Testing plays a crucial role in this process, assisting in verifying that new items of gear and clothing satisfy criteria for reliability and ease of use. “We invite manufacturers and suppliers to join this process,” urged Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Dmytro Klimenkov.

The MoD’s Main Directorate of Logistics Support Development has formulated the technical specifications for the pilot batches of these items. These specifications have been made available on the MoD Partner‎ platform within the subsection “Technical specifications for gear and clothing items”.

We suggest that manufacturing companies (suppliers) notify the Central Directorate and the Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about their capability to produce and supply at least 11 sets of the aforementioned items for military (experimental) tests at no cost. Applications for participation in the tests must be submitted exclusively through the MoD Partner Portal (https://partner.mod.gov.ua/).

The tests are aimed at evaluating new models of military gear and clothing and their compliance with the requirements of modern conditions of service in the Armed Forces.

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine encourages all interested manufacturers and suppliers to participate in the testing of new models of military gear and clothing, aimed at enhancing the supply for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
