Ukraine discusses strengthening air defence, drone capabilities, and industrial cooperation with Denmark and Italy

Ukraine’s Minister of Defence Mykhailo Fedorov met with Denmark’s Minister of Defence Jeppe Bruus and Italy’s Minister of Defence Guido Crosetto.
Denmark: munitions, drones, and the “Danish Model”
During the meeting with Denmark’s Minister of Defence Jeppe Bruus, Mykhailo Fedorov congratulated him on his appointment and expressed gratitude to Denmark for the support to Ukraine.
The Minister of Defence of Ukraine briefed the Danish side on the situation on the battlefield. Ukraine is regaining the initiative and advancing its own defence strategy. The discussion also covered successful middle-strike and deep-strike operations.
Ukraine is grateful to Denmark for its investment in the supply of extended-range munitions.
Denmark is also preparing a new assistance package that includes support under the “Danish Model”. Ukraine looks forward to the swift approval of this package at a sufficient scale to make full use of the current window of opportunity on the battlefield.
The parties also discussed expanding industrial cooperation, efforts on advancing anti-ballistic capabilities, and cooperation under the Drone Deal initiative.
Denmark will also continue supporting training centres for service members of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
Mykhailo Fedorov thanked Denmark for its commitment to advancing cooperation that strengthens both countries.

Italy: air defence and anti-ballistic capabilities
During the meeting with Italy’s Minister of Defence Guido Crosetto, Mykhailo Fedorov thanked Italy for the consistent support to Ukraine.
The parties discussed further steps to strengthen Ukraine’s air defence capabilities.
Particular attention was given to the possibility of Italy joining a joint European anti-ballistic project. Italian companies could contribute to the project, including through the supply of one of the components required for such a solution.
