This year, the russian army’s artillery losses have already surpassed last year’s total
In just under 11 months of this year, artillery losses of the russian army have already exceeded the full totals recorded in 2024.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 23 November, the number of artillery systems of the russian army lost or destroyed since the beginning of the year has already reached 13,053 units. For comparison: In 2024, the Defence Forces of Ukraine destroyed 13,050 enemy artillery systems.
As of 23 November 2025, the total number of artillery systems lost by the russian army amounts to 34,585. In 2022, 2,021 enemy artillery systems were destroyed or disabled. In 2023, the total was 6,461. In 2024, it rose to 13,050. And in 2025, the russian army has already lost 13,053 artillery systems.
