The Government has established regulations for the use of fuel and spare parts for vehicles received by the military as humanitarian aid
Military units will be authorized to write off assets used to maintain vehicles received by service members as humanitarian aid. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has amended paragraph 16 of the Regulations on the Procedure for Accounting, Storage, Writing-Off, and Use of Military Property in the Armed Forces.
The new regulations provide legal frameworks for the writing-off fuel, lubricants, and spare parts used to repair and maintain humanitarian aid vehicles allocated to service members. This applies to vehicles temporarily registered with the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and assigned to defense tasks under the procedure established by the Ministry of Defence.
The adopted decision will ensure an accurate accounting of military assets used in the maintenance of vehicles received as humanitarian aid by military personnel. The amendments enact the provisions of the Law of Ukraine No. 3448-IX, dated 08.11.2023, regarding the import, accounting, and distribution of humanitarian aid.
