Since the beginning of 2024, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has acquired more than 100 buildings and facilities for the needs of the Armed Forces. These assets, transferred by the State Property Fund, are already actively being used to house personnel and store military equipment.

The property transfer follows a memorandum signed between the two agencies in August last year. Currently, efforts are underway to hand over more than 100 additional buildings to the Ministry of Defense.

Alongside this, the Ministry of Defense and the State Property Fund have conducted a large-scale inventory of military assets. As a result, ownership rights for over 300 buildings have been formalized, and more than 2,000 real estate assets have been recorded.

"During russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, it is critically important to equip the Armed Forces with the necessary infrastructure. Our cooperation with the State Property Fund helps maximize the use of available state resources to strengthen our defense capabilities," emphasized Borys Zakutnii, Head of the Defense Land and Assets Department of the Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry of Defense will continue its active collaboration with the State Property Fund to ensure that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have access to essential infrastructure.
