The Ukrainian delegation briefed the UK MPs on the operational security situation at the front, russia's intentions, and Ukrainian intelligence on the development of russia's defense sector. Special focus was placed on russia's collaboration with China, Iran, and North Korea.

Sergiy Boyev highlighted Ukraine's continued need for air defense and missile defense systems, interceptor missiles for these systems, heavy armored vehicles, ammunition, and investments in the Ukrainian defense industry.

The Deputy Minister pointed out that Ukrainian defense companies have a production capacity of $35 billion for 2025, which may not be fully realized due to insufficient funding. He underlined the significance of raising defense expenditures in the next UK budget. The proposals also explored the potential for joint drone production, given Ukraine's expertise and experience.

Sergiy Boyev informed the British MPs that Russia continues to ramp up its defense industry production and enhance recruitment and personnel training efforts. The Deputy Minister stressed that no evidence suggests the aggressor's intent to stop hostilities.

Phil Brickell and David Taylor assured that the United Kingdom understands all the threats and risks and continues to stand with Ukraine in this battle:

“Our relationship is unique, and we will keep supporting you. We cannot afford to waste time; we need to strengthen our capabilities, including those of Europe.”
