Sergiy Boyev discusses artillery ammunition supplies with Czech delegation

Sergiy Boyev, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine, met with Aleš Vytečka, Director of the Intergovernmental Defence Cooperation Agency (AMOS) of the Czech Ministry of Defence.

The parties focused on matters concerning the implementation of the ammunition initiative for Ukraine. The delegations discussed delivery timelines and the quantities of ammunition available under the highest-priority categories.

Sergiy Boyev expressed gratitude to Czechia for its consistent support in providing Ukraine with artillery shells.

“Our priority is to obtain extended-range ammunition that provides Ukrainian warriors a decisive edge on the battlefield. Czechia is playing a vital role in the initiative that secures steady deliveries of shells for the Defence Forces,” the Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine underlined.

The Czech side also briefed on the details of its security assistance and the current status of ammunition contracting.
