Reserve+ expands its notification functionality: the app informs users about key events and user requests
The Reserve+ app continues to evolve as a reliable and predictable communication channel between the state and individuals liable for military service. One of the key focus areas is the notification functionality, allowing users to be promptly informed of important decisions and changes in their status.
At present, Reserve+ sends push notifications regarding a number of events related to military registration:
- Initiation and termination of wanted status.
- Violations of military registration rules and related fines.
- Updates to Reserve ID.
- Data updates and retrieval.
- Obtaining a deferment or reservation.
- Obtaining an electronic referral for a medical examination by military medical commission (MMC).
The app now allows users to enable notifications that inform them when a Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (enlistment office) has sent a paper summons by mail. This function helps individuals liable for military service remain aware of their status, prevent misunderstandings, and prepare to receive a registered letter delivered by Ukrposhta.
What is important to know
- Notifications in the Reserve+ app do not constitute a summons. They are provided solely for informational purposes. Receipt or review of a notification is not considered formal service of a summons.
- Use of this feature is voluntary, and users may enable or disable it in the app menu at their own discretion.
- The notification indicates the date and time when the individual is required to appear at a Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (enlistment office).
- The procedure for issuing summonses remains unchanged: they continue to be printed in paper form and delivered by Ukrposhta.
Next steps
During the upcoming quarter, Reserve+ will make available notifications related to registration, deregistration, removal from the military register, and deferment cancellation.
