New portable charging stations will quickly charge military electronics

Електроніку військових швидко заряджатимуть нові мобільні станції

The Ministry of Defence has codified and authorized for operational use within the Armed Forces of Ukraine the domestically manufactured ‘Titanium’ charging stations. These stations are designed for rapid and secure charging of a wide range of military electronics. This was reported by the MoD’s Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment.

The ‘Titanium’ portable charging stations are military-grade power banks engineered for operation in harsh field conditions. Their robust, shock-resistant casing and transport case ensure protection of power elements from physical damage during off-road transport, high humidity, and extreme temperature fluctuations. Integrated safety systems safeguard against overload, short-circuiting, ignition, explosion, or melting during operation.

The lithium-iron-phosphate batteries in the ‘Titanium’ charging stations guarantee extended service life without capacity loss, supporting up to 4,000 charge cycles. Models 1 500, 2 500, and 5 500 offer capacities of 1.5 kW, 2.5 kW, and 5.5 kW, respectively. Equipped with multiple charging ports and high-speed 3 kW inverters producing a pure sine wave, the stations allow additional battery connections to expand capacity.

The ‘Titanium’ stations charge batteries for communication systems, unmanned aerial systems, UAVs, ground robotic systems, automotive equipment, and serve as power sources for other 220V electrical devices. Weighing between 21 and 60 kg, the charging station can be transported by a single infantryman or a ground robotic platform.
