In Ukraine, electronic data exchange is being introduced between military enlistment offices and the National Police.
The military enlistment offices, Security Service of Ukraine, and intelligence agencies will share information with the National Police regarding individuals who have violated military registration rules and mobilization laws.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved amendments to the procedure for organizing and maintaining military records. The key innovation is the implementation of electronic information exchange between the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Service members, and Reservists and the Unified Information System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
This will allow law enforcement to quickly access information on violators for their subsequent administrative detention and delivery to the nearest military enlistment office or Security Service offices. In cases where electronic data exchange is technically impossible, the resolution provides alternative means for contacting the National Police.
The adopted changes aim to optimize staffing for the Defense Forces of Ukraine and special law enforcement units. The digitalization of interagency communication is intended to ensure more effective mobilization preparation and military record-keeping.
The document amends Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 1487 of December 30, 2022, "On Approval of the Procedure for Organizing and Maintaining Military Records of Conscripts, Service members, and Reservists."
