In the military, the supply of electronic warfare assets to military units has been simplified and accelerated
Information on electronic warfare (EW) assets from different units is now consolidated in a unified Digital Logistics Management System (DLMS). The system provides real-time visibility into available equipment, its condition, and whether it requires maintenance or repair.
This enables a transparent, clearly defined process for electronic warfare (EW) assets—from submitting a request to their operational use within military units.
As a result, military units will be able to receive electronic warfare assets significantly faster.
What this means for the military
- Less bureaucracy
Military units can rapidly submit requests aligned with their real needs, without extra steps or duplication. - Transparent asset tracking
The system provides visibility into each stage of the supply process, from request submission to delivery to the military unit. - Technical condition oversight
The system provides visibility into which equipment is serviceable and which requires maintenance or repair.
More than 200 military units and command bodies will now be able to receive electronic warfare (EW) assets more quickly.
Next steps
In 2026, further rollout of DLMS workstations for electronic warfare (EW) assets is planned across military units. This means even more units will be able to operate within a unified digital system and receive the required equipment more quickly.
About the system
The system is based on SAP, a data-driven platform for defense resource management used by over 90% of NATO member states’ armies. It was deployed by the Ministry of Defence together with the Defence Forces Commands.
It provides real-time visibility into available resources, tracks their movement, enables supply planning, and supports decision-making based on up-to-date data.
