In 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received 25% more specialized armored vehicles compared to the previous year
Over the course of 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received 25% more specialized armored vehicles than in the previous year.
“These include wheeled armored vehicles of various domestically produced and foreign-made models, capable of performing a wide range of tactical tasks on the battlefield. They are used to transport personnel and essential supplies, provide fire support to units, and conduct medical evacuations, among other missions. We will continue working to ensure our army is fully equipped,” stated Minister of Defence Denys Shmyhal.
Some of these specialized armored vehicles are MRAP-class vehicles (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected).
Such vehicles feature a V-shaped hull designed to dissipate blast energy, specialized shock-absorbing seats, and a monolithic armored capsule structure with external blast-absorbing components, including the wheels, chassis, and engine.
