Frontline units to receive additional electronic warfare assets via DOT-Chain Defence
The military will procure electronic warfare (EW) systems through the DOT-Chain Defence weapons marketplace. Going forward, 180 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine will be allocated guaranteed budgets, enabling them to procure both fixed-site and trench-mounted EW systems through the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace.
The demand for these systems is evidenced by order statistics: on the first day after EW systems were added to DOT-Chain Defence, the military placed orders worth nearly UAH 6 million.
Earlier, the Defence Procurement Agency (DPA) concluded contracts with manufacturers to deliver trench-mounted electronic warfare (EW) systems under the ‘Army Drones Bonus’ program, which allocates incentive budgets to units for confirmed successful strikes against the enemy.
Reference information: The DOT-Chain Defence weapons marketplace was developed by the State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT) and is used to supply the military with weaponry. The system brings together brigades, manufacturers, and the Defence Procurement Agency (DPA) into a unified, secure environment. Thanks to this system, military units independently select the equipment they require, while the Defence Procurement Agency (DPA) handles all organizational processes — from contract conclusion to payment processing. This enables the military to receive the necessary equipment in just a few clicks.
The supply of the military through the DOT-Chain Defence is conducted alongside other programs and constitutes an additional channel for drone deliveries.
