Fines for violations of military registration rules can now be paid via the Reserve+ app with a 50% discount

Individuals liable for military service will be able to pay fines for violations of military registration with a 50% discount through the Reserve+ app. Additionally, active military personnel who have incurred such fines will be exempt from paying them.

Today, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the pertinent draft law No. 12093 in its entirety, amending the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Violations regarding the voluntary payment of fines.

The online payment process will proceed as follows:

  • An individual submits a statement in the Reserve+ app acknowledging the violation.
  • A resolution confirming the violation is issued within the Reserve+ app.
  • The fine is paid using the payment details provided in the app. Upon confirmation of payment, the resolution will be considered fulfilled.

This functionality will operate under specific rules: from the moment the statement of violation is submitted and the resolution is issued, an individual will have 20 days to pay the fine with a 50% discount. Failure to pay within this period will require payment of the full fine amount.

“We aim to provide individuals with the ability to pay fines quickly, without wasting time, ensuring the process is fair and convenient. These new rules will enhance transparency and streamline the process without unnecessary bureaucracy. This option in the Reserve+ app is voluntary, and the alternative options of visiting an enlistment office and submitting a violation statement remains available,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.
