Battle-tested: The Ministry of Defence demonstrates DELTA, Avengers, and UA DRONE ID to NATO in real combat conditions

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine showcased to NATO partners the operational performance of the DELTA combat system, the Avengers artificial intelligence platform, and the UA DRONE ID technology for identifying friendly unmanned systems in actual combat conditions.

The demonstration of these cutting-edge technologies took place at the NATO TIDE Sprint 2025 conference in Helsinki, highlighting their practical application.

“We are not merely showcasing concepts; we are presenting real combat technologies that have been tested and proven in warfare. We demonstrate how digital products must function on the battlefield—swiftly, reliably, and tailored to the actual needs of the military. The war compels us to develop solutions that are not only innovative but critically essential for repelling the russian onslaught,” stated Lieutenant Colonel Yelyzaveta Boiko, Head of the Department at the Center for Innovation.

Ministry of Defence representatives briefed NATO partners on how DELTA addresses the challenges of war, emphasizing the importance of continuous collaboration between developers and the military in creating effective solutions. Particular attention was given to data security within the system. The Ukrainian Navy demonstrated the application of DELTA in maritime operations, where the combat system has proven indispensable for coordinating forces, making operational decisions, and commanding combat activities at sea.

Additionally, the Ministry of Defence showcased real-world examples of the Avengers AI platform's application in combat scenarios. Ukraine currently possesses the largest dataset of precise information on the appearance of enemy equipment, enabling the development of innovative AI-driven tools to enhance the automatic detection of enemy equipment.

NATO representatives commended the high level of Ukrainian technologies, noting that DELTA is the most interoperable system, even among Alliance nations, which opens new opportunities for collaboration and integration.
