A significant delivery of equipment, valued at over EUR 3.3 million, was received by the Ministry of Defence from partners within the IT Coalition
The partner countries of the IT Coalition – specifically Estonia, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg – have sent the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine another delivery of equipment valued at EUR 3.3 million.
The delivery includes:
1,026 workstations for the Oberih registry. These include laptops, printers, webcams, and barcode scanners;
1,000 laptops for various information and communication systems in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
Equipment for the data processing center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
20,000 two-factor authentication keys for users of the DELTA system;
3,520 tactical-level tablets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“This delivery from the IT Coalition partners can be regarded as a significant New Year’s gift, enhancing our capabilities and supporting the creation and implementation of our products. Thanks to this equipment, we will be able to continue expanding digitalization within the military,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.
In addition to this shipment, a Canadian delivery for the MoD's Innovation Center, including monitors and laptops worth the equivalent of EUR 100,000, was also delivered to Ukraine.
The IT Coalition is one of the Capability Coalitions within the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein format). It focuses on supporting the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces in IT, communications, and cybersecurity. Currently, the Coalition includes 17 countries: Estonia and Luxembourg are the leading countries, followed by Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine.
