Tracked logistics robot will strengthen the capabilities of our defenders

The Ministry of Defence has codified and authorized the ‘Liutik’ ground robotic system for operational use of the Defence Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the MoD’s Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment.
Developed by a Ukrainian company, the ‘Liutik’ is compact in size, allowing it to be transported on a car trailer or even in the bed of a military pickup or minibus. Despite its compact dimensions, the system is capable of carrying up to a quarter tonne of cargo. The robotic platform is equipped with a sealed housing, isolated from dust and moisture. The ground robotic system can operate in a wide range of ambient temperatures. Its traction electric motor and tracked chassis enable it to move through off-road terrain, mud, sand dunes, narrow ditches and low vertical obstacles.
The compact ‘Liutik’ can perform a wide range of tasks particularly in logistics: transporting cargo and personnel, evacuating the wounded, and more. At the same time, it can also be used as a mobile platform for combat modules.
A reminder to defence equipment manufacturers: helpful information on the procedure for codifying new models of weapons and military equipment is available here.
