The Ministry of Defense has codified the UAT-TISA armored vehicle
The Defense Department has codified and approved the domestic UAT-TISA armored vehicle for use by the Defense Forces. It can be used to perform a wide range of tasks. Depending on the mission requirements, the vehicle can be equipped with additional devices and equipment.
UAT-TISA inherited the chassis of a proven off-road vehicle of one of the well-known car manufacturers, on which a specially designed armored capsule was installed, which provides protection for the crew from small arms fire. The design of the armored capsule allows for the mounting of a machine gun on a turret. The vehicle’s anti-mine protection can withstand the detonation of explosive devices under the wheels and undercarriage.
The armored vehicle has high dynamic performance, off-road capability, and smooth handling. Its fuel tank capacity allows it to cover more than 1,000 kilometers on a single tank.
We remind manufacturers and developers of military equipment that they can direct additional questions regarding the codification process to the Main Directorate for Armament and Military Equipment Life Cycle Support at the email: [email protected].
