Denys Shmyhal and the Secretary of State for Defence of the United Kingdom discussed preparations for the next Ramstein-format meeting

The Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, held talks with the Secretary of State for Defence of the United Kingdom, John Healey.
In particular, the parties discussed preparations for the next Ramstein-format meeting.
“The meeting is due to take place in September. We have coordinated our main positions. I thanked the United Kingdom for its active preparations and organisation of the meeting,” said Denys Shmyhal.
The Defence Ministers also discussed the development of joint production and the implementation of bilateral projects in the defence industry. Denys Shmyhal expressed his confidence that the United Kingdom would play an important role in the new US–NATO mechanism, the Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL).
“I am grateful to our British partners for their high level of support and engagement in strengthening the security of Ukraine and Europe,” concluded the Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
