The Ministry of Defence has launched a pilot project to introduce photo and video documentation of quality control procedures during the acceptance of non-lethal supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Photo and video recording is conducted through the use of portable video recorders (body cameras) utilized by representatives of state quality assurance authorities in the course of control procedures.

The use of recording equipment is intended to ensure the objectivity and transparency of acceptance procedures, as well as to establish an evidentiary base in the event of disputes arising during the performance of supply contracts.

According to Colonel Yevhen Krasnykov, Head of the Main Department of State Quality Assurance, the introduction of photo and video documentation aligns with modern quality-assurance approaches. It will help increase accountability among all participants in the non-lethal supply chain.

The recorded photo and video materials will be used only to document quality control results and to substantiate decisions taken based on those results.
