AI assistant for DELTA is now available to all users

All users of the DELTA combat system now have access to the AI assistant. Users can now get answers to common questions directly in the system interface, without searching the documentation or contacting support. 

The assistant operates within DELTA’s secure environment and draws only on designated system knowledge sources. 

AI assistant in DELTA helps reduce the support team’s workload

The introduction of the AI assistant is already proving effective. The AI assistant currently handles about a quarter of all queries submitted through the web widget. 

As a result, the number of support requests submitted through this communication channel has decreased by approximately 27%, while the wait time for a response has been reduced by a factor of 30. 

How the AI assistant in DELTA can help

Users can ask the assistant how to build a route in DELTA and receive instructions with images and visual guidance. 

Instead of searching the documentation or waiting in a queue for a response from support, users receive an answer immediately in the DELTA interface. 

This enables users to learn how to use DELTA’s features faster, spend significantly less time searching for information, and complete assigned tasks more quickly. 

How the AI assistant was rolled out in DELTA

Before being made available to all users, the AI assistant underwent pilot testing with representatives of units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine. During the testing phase, it helped users resolve common issues and, when necessary, referred them to the responsible teams. 

The feedback gathered during testing helped improve the quality of the assistant’s responses and expand its knowledge base.

AI in the Defence Forces of Ukraine

The launch of the AI assistant reflects DELTA’s continued focus on introducing artificial intelligence tools for the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine. The system already employs technologies that automatically detect and recognize enemy military equipment in images, videos, and video streams. 

These solutions handle some of the routine work involved in data analysis, enhance situational awareness, and give service members more time to carry out combat missions and make decisions. 

As previously reported, AI is currently saving analysts in the Defence Forces of Ukraine up to 90% of the time spent searching for enemy targets in images and videos.
