The Defence Forces have added the ‘Ravlyk’ all-terrain vehicle to their fleet

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has codified and approved the versatile mobile platform 'Ravlyk' (meaning 'Snail' in English) for use in the Armed Forces. This ground robotic system is a fully Ukrainian development.
The 'Ravlyk' is compact in size and easy to transport on a car trailer. It weighs just over half a ton and can carry several hundred kilograms of cargo or tow a nearly two-ton trailer. The hermetically closed dust- and water-resistant platform operates reliably in harsh weather conditions. Its electric motor and soft all-terrain tires enable it to move quietly.
“Thanks to its design features and the integration of modern engineering solutions, the Ravlyk effortlessly navigates off-road terrain, mud, sand dunes, narrow ditches, and low vertical obstacles. This robot can serve as a versatile platform for carrying out a wide range of tasks,” said Deputy Defence Minister Dmytro Klimenkov.
