Strengthening social protection for persons liable for military service and intelligence reservists: financial support trainees and veterans, plus simplified residence change procedures
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has enhanced social protection for individuals liable for military service and reservists of Ukraine's intelligence agencies. These measures include payments for those discharged from military service, guarantees for reserve duty training, and simplified procedures for changing residence.
The government approved the relevant resolution initiated by the Ministry of Defence.
Intelligence agencies will provide monthly financial assistance to individuals discharged from military service due to age, health reasons, or staff reductions/organizational changes without the right to a pension. Compensation will be provided within one year following dismissal, equivalent to the salary associated with the military (special) rank.
The intelligence agencies will also compensate businesses, institutions, and organizations for the average salary of employees summoned for training. Those liable for military service who were not employed as of the day of the call-up will receive payments equal to the living wage.
Furthermore, individuals listed in the call-up registry with the intelligence services are permitted to update their declared place of residence via the Diia portal.
