Starting today, only companies with an updated criticality status can reserve employees

The Ministry of Defence, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, has introduced revised regulations for the reservation of military-obligated employees at critically important enterprises.

Commencing today, April 1, only enterprises with a confirmed updated criticality status are permitted to apply for reservations, and all submissions must be made exclusively in electronic format. Reservation applications will now be processed within 72 hours, as opposed to the previous 24-hour timeframe.

Reservations under the former regulations have been terminated. Enterprises that have successfully updated their criticality status may proceed with employee reservations. All other enterprises must update their status. For instructions on how to proceed, please refer to the link.

If a reservation does not appear today, it indicates that the employer has not re-reserved the employee or that the enterprise was unable to confirm or update its criticality status. We recommend contacting your management for further clarification.

All other deferment categories remain active in accordance with their designated terms and are not discontinued as of April 1. Provided the enterprise’s status is compliant, employees may be reserved via the Diia portal.

The enhancement of this service is made possible by the 'Diia Support Project,' which is being implemented by the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine with support from Sweden.
