Ukraine’s Defence Forces have neutralized over 400,000 russian drones since the start of 2026

Units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine have hit 408,000 russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) since the start of 2026.
Every hit is recorded on video in the DELTA combat system and verified by the Brave1 defence innovation cluster.
How many fixed-wing UAVs, multirotors, and Shahed-type drones were shot down
In just under 10 months of 2026, Ukrainian defenders hit:
- nearly 248,000 fixed-wing UAVs;
- nearly 125,000 multirotor UAVs;
- more than 35,000 Shahed-type drones.
Every russian drone destroyed means lives of Ukrainian service members and civilians potentially saved.
Why verifying hits in Ukraine’s DELTA system matters
Hits on russian UAVs are confirmed in the DELTA system, the digital core of command and control on the modern battlefield and one of the technological solutions that are key to Ukraine’s advantage over the enemy.
This verification mechanism makes it possible to track the specifics of every shoot-down of an enemy drone shoot-down and scale up effective solutions more rapidly.
As previously reported, in September Ukrainian service members recorded 1.8 million results of completed missions in Mission Control, one of the DELTA modules, which allows mission results to be recorded and used for analysis and subsequent planning.
