ePoints results for September 2026: record number of air defense assets hit and intensified strikes in the russian rear

In September 2026, the Defence Forces of Ukraine intensified strikes on targets deep in the enemy rear. They hit a record number of air defense assets, particularly radar systems, since the launch of the ePoints program.
Each result was recorded on video in the DELTA combat system and verified by the Brave1 defense innovation cluster.
Over the month, 33,087 confirmed hits on russian personnel were recorded. Higher figures were recorded only in March and April 2026. However, enemy losses are increasing not only along the line of contact.
Strikes on targets 20+ km and 50+ km deep in the enemy rear
Ukrainian units are stepping up effective strikes on targets deep in the enemy rear. In September, the number of hits at distances beyond 20 km exceeded 11,000 for the first time.
The number of hits at distances beyond 50 km also reached a record high. Most of these strikes were concentrated along the Mariupol–Crimea logistics route.
Record number of russian air defense assets and radar systems hit
In September, the Defence Forces of Ukraine also hit a record number of enemy air defense assets, including radar stations. A particularly notable achievement was a strike on an enemy air defense asset at a distance of 552 km.
28% more russian Shahed-type UAVs shot down
In September, the enemy continued to change its aerial attack tactics. Despite an increase in launches of jet-powered UAVs, the Ukrainian military shot down 28% more Shahed-type drones than in the previous month.
Behind every figure are service members who find new and unconventional ways to inflict losses on the enemy. The ePoints program helps quickly identify such solutions, share successful practices across units, and accelerate the adoption of innovations on the battlefield.
As previously reported, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine have neutralized more than 350,000 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) since the start of 2026.
