Record number of russian drones destroyed and increased maritime strikes: ePoints Program results for August

In August 2026, the Defence Forces of Ukraine destroyed a record number of enemy multirotor drones and expanded the geographic scope of strikes against targets in the Black Sea.

Ukrainian forces continue to effectively inflict losses despite the enemy’s attempts to secure better its logistics, communications, and command and control.

August saw strong results across several target categories. In particular, the following targets were hit:

• nearly 24,000 multirotor UAVs — the highest figure recorded since the ePoints Program began;
• more than 35,000 fixed-wing UAVs.

Another notable result of the month was a shift in the geographic focus of maritime strikes. A significant share of targets was previously recorded in the Sea of Azov, but Defence Forces activity is now increasingly shifting toward the Black Sea, particularly the areas around Novorossiysk and Sochi. 

The following high-value enemy targets were also hit in August:

• a Su-30 fighter;
• an L-39 Albatros aircraft;
• a Ka-52 Alligator helicopter.

In addition, the ePoints Program confirmed that 30,246 occupiers were killed or wounded last month.

Each result is recorded on video in the DELTA combat system and verified by the Innovation Development Fund of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. 

Defence Forces of Ukraine systematically hit targets at depths of 20+ km

Ukrainian unmanned systems are forcing the enemy to rethink how it protects logistics and critical sites in the rear and to seek new ways to counter platforms that use Starlink for satellite communications.

Despite this, the Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to systematically hit targets at depths of 20+ km, along key routes used to move personnel, equipment, and ammunition. This forces the enemy to reorganize its logistics and move its forces and assets farther away from their usual basing areas.

As previously reported, Mission Control data from the DELTA combat system shows that every $1 spent on strikes inflicts nearly $5 in losses on russia.
