More than 32,000 citizens received consultations at the Recruitment Centers of the Ukrainian Army

In 2024, since the Recruitment Centers of the Ukrainian Army began operating, more than 32,000 Ukrainians sought consultations about joining the military. Of these, 7,198 individuals are currently under consideration as candidates for the Defence Forces and are undergoing selection and paperwork procedures.

Last week, 901 Ukrainians reached out to the centers. It is important to note that these centers do not hand call-up papers, and all consultations are carried out with strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.

Currently, 47 Recruitment Centers of the Ukrainian Army are operating in Ukraine. In just the last two weeks, two new centers were opened in the Volyn and Zhytomyr oblasts (regions) with support from the Ministry of Defence and local communities.

“Next year, we plan to expand the network of these centers further. The main advantage of these centers is their provision of a transparent and convenient enlistment process. Anyone who has expressed a desire to join the Defence Forces has the opportunity to select a specialty and place of service, along with receiving an expanded package of benefits and social guarantees that extend even to their family members,” emphasized the Deputy Minister of Defence, Brigadier General of Justice Serhii Melnyk.

Residents of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts (regions), as well as the city of Kyiv, demonstrate the highest level of activity in terms of the number of inquiries.

To recap, the centers offer candidates over 10,000 positions across various military formations, including Ukraine's Armed Forces, National Guard, State Border Guard Service, and Security Service.
