MoD reports: over UAH 6 billion worth of equipment delivered to the military through DOT-Chain Defence
The Ministry of Defence is transforming the defense supply system by leveraging modern digital tools. Over the first four months of DOT-Chain Defence’s operation, the military received more than UAH 6.15 billion worth of equipment through the platform, including FPV drones, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and fixed-wing drones.
Overall, nearly 144,000 units of equipment have been delivered, with 90 companies engaged in their production.
“The first four months of DOT-Chain Defence’s operation have confirmed that new digital solutions significantly strengthen the state’s ability to equip our military — quickly, transparently, and with maximum accuracy in matching operational requirements,” said Ukraine’s Minister of Defence, Denys Shmyhal.
DOT-Chain Defence enables a new supply model: combat brigades independently identify their needs and select the equipment they require, while all legal, financial, and administrative procedures are handled by the Ministry of Defence’s Defence Procurement Agency. This ensures that military units receive the required equipment in a matter of weeks.
The system has already been scaled to 184 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two corps of the National Guard of Ukraine. This is one of the key digital projects in the defense sector, providing military units with a tool for the rapid and precise selection of required equipment.
The Ministry of Defence underscores that DOT-Chain Defence is not merely a digital platform but a new defense-supply model rooted in speed and precise, needs-based delivery.
