Denys Shmyhal: New procedure for applying for, processing, and extending mobilization deferments comes into force

Minister of Defence of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal noted that over 720,000 deferments have already been extended without any additional action required from individuals, as all necessary data are available in state registers.
Meanwhile, more than 80% of applications are submitted through the Reserve+ app — with no paperwork or personal attendance needed.
Those submitting documents in paper form now apply through Administrative Service Centers (ASCs) instead of enlistment offices. Today alone, ASCs received nearly 4,000 applications.
“Whenever possible, apply for a deferment through the Reserve+ app. It’s faster and more convenient,” urged the Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
He thanked the regional military administrations, local self-government authorities, and teams at Administrative Service Centers (ASCs) for their support and efficient organization of the process on the ground.
“We are making the process transparent, eliminating the human factor and risks of abuse, and easing the workload of enlistment offices so they can focus on their main task — ensuring mobilization,” added Denys Shmyhal.
