Denys Shmyhal: DOT-Chain Defence has begun delivering electronic warfare (EW) equipment as part of the ‘Army of Drones Bonus’ program

Загалом у межах програми «Армія Дронів Бонус» підрозділи вже отримали техніки на 500 млн грн.

The Defence Procurement Agency (DPA) of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has concluded the first contracts with domestic manufacturers for the supply of electronic warfare (EW) equipment under the ‘Army of Drones Bonus’ program.

The military can order them on the Brave1 Market platform. The supply process is conducted through the DOT-Chain Defence.

“The availability of electronic warfare equipment in the program represents not only an expansion of the equipment catalog but also a fundamentally new level of operational flexibility for the military. They can independently assess their unit’s needs, place orders through Brave1 Market via DELTA authorization, and receive supplies directly at their units through the Ministry of Defence’s digital system, DOT-Chain Defence. This shortens the time from request to actual delivery at the frontline and improves the efficiency of public fund usage,” emphasized Ukraine’s Minister of Defence, Denys Shmyhal.

Under the ‘Army of Drones Bonus’ program, units have already received equipment worth UAH 500 million and have placed orders totaling UAH 2 billion.

“The DPA continues to expand the range of equipment available under the ‘Army of Drones Bonus’ program. Electronic warfare equipment protects our warriors on the frontline. It is vital that service members themselves can select and promptly receive all necessary equipment. Digitalizing the process via DOT-Chain Defence and Brave1 Market guarantees that our defenders obtain the required equipment quickly and at the point of need,” said Arsen Zhumadilov, Director of the Defence Procurement Agency.

Currently, the DPA is actively working to involve additional manufacturers and suppliers of EW equipment.

Reference information: The new model of the ‘Army of Drones Bonus’ program was launched in August, based on the integration of the DELTA IT system, DOT-Chain Defence, and Brave1 Market. It functions as follows:

  • Service members earn points for destroying and damaging enemy targets, and exchange them for the drones and equipment they need to accomplish combat missions — through Brave1 Market, following authorization in DELTA.
  • The Defence Procurement Agency (DPA) carries out the supply process via the DOT-Chain Defence digital system, generating contracts with manufacturers and coordinating the direct delivery of drones and other equipment to military units.
