Confirmed in the DELTA system: in February, 9,000 enemy targets were reported as hit through the Army+ app

In February, approximately 100 military units reported the destruction of 9,000 enemy targets through the Army+ app, with confirmation in the DELTA system.

The reporting process is conducted via smartphones as part of the ‘Strike Report’ project launched at the beginning of the year. The project enabled the digitization and streamlining of reports on the outcomes of combat operations.

“Every confirmed kill — from infantry to enemy equipment — is recorded in a unified combat system. Reports can be submitted directly from a smartphone, and verified data generates analytics for the General Staff. This enables faster decision-making, more effective command, and the destruction of the enemy. Digitization and analytics pave the way to victory on the battlefield,” said Rustem Umerov, Minister of Defence of Ukraine.

Each report is subjected to a verification procedure. Verified data from all military units are aggregated into a digital report on combat operations. Based on this verified analytics in a convenient visual format, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can swiftly make decisions regarding the organization of military operations and the command and control of forces on the front line. 

“The first results of the strike reporting indicate that this tool is essential for the military. It is already being actively used by brigades such as “Khartiia” and “Rarog,” and the number of brigades eager to join the reporting via Army+ is increasing daily. Our goal is not only to change the understanding of analytics with the help of this functionality but also to enhance the motivation of service members. To this end, the reporting is already being used to develop a system that will enable the rapid awarding of service members for destroyed or captured enemy equipment,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.
