Commanders’ Digital Ratings: Military units will submit daily reports on losses via the Army+ app
Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine will be able to submit daily reports on enemy losses via the Army+ app.
“The implementation of losses reporting in the Army+ app marks a significant step toward enhancing the efficiency of Ukraine's Defence Forces. This project will enable the generation of more objective and transparent statistics on confirmed enemy losses, as well as allow for monitoring the performance of commanders and military units based on clear criteria,” stated Rustem Umerov, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
The pertinent resolution was adopted today at a session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. According to the resolution, individual units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine will be able to submit their corresponding daily reports to the General Staff via Army+. Confirmation of losses from the DELTA combat system can be attached to the reports.
“This resolution will enable us to create a comprehensive war dashboard to display the army's effectiveness. Moreover, this will be done without the need for paper forms, as was previously the case. Using a football metaphor, we will have our own Champions League, centered on the destruction of the enemy. Commanders will submit daily reports, with all data aggregated in a single repository. This will enable tracking individual units' performance,” emphasized Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.
Furthermore, loss reports will serve as a source for analyzing the effectiveness of various types of weapons and ammunition. This will help better understand which weapons must be prioritized for production and supply.
When the project demonstrates its effectiveness, it will be expanded to all military units of the Defence Forces.
