Army+ has launched a survey on barrier-free accessibility in military hospitals

A new survey has been launched in the Army+ app, focusing on barrier-free environments in military hospitals. The Humanitarian Support Department of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine aims to assess the current infrastructure of hospitals, gather feedback from those undergoing treatment or rehabilitation, and identify challenges and gaps in ensuring full comfort for service members during recovery.
The survey consists of 19 questions and is available until May 14. The responses will help improve hospital infrastructure and enhance conditions for the rehabilitation, recovery, and treatment of service members.
“The state must provide high-quality support to individuals in the military. This also applies to treatment in hospitals, as these are times when service members are most vulnerable. The recovery environment must ensure that service members recover as quickly as possible, free from any discomfort. This survey will enable us to collect comprehensive feedback and support the Humanitarian Support Department in implementing the necessary changes,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.
Since the launch of Army+, a total of 12 surveys have been conducted. On average, approximately 20,000 users provide feedback on the issues raised in the app. Recent changes resulting from these surveys in the app include a revised strategy for field ration provision in the military and the appointment of a new Head of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy.
