Ammunition Supply under the “Ammunition Initiative”: Meeting between the Ministries of Defence of Ukraine and the Czech Republic

Deputy Ministers of Defence of Ukraine — Sergiy Boyev, Valerii Churkin, and Mykola Shevtsov — held a meeting with a delegation from the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic to discuss the supply of ammunition.
The Czech Republic delegation was lead by Mr. Aleš Vytečka, Director of the Intergovernmental Defense Cooperation Agency under the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic. One of the key topics of the visit was the timely supply of ammunition.
First Deputy Minister of Defense Sergiy Boyev emphasized that in 2025, it is important to finance an additional volume of nomenclature, considering the offensive activity of the aggressor.
“While drones have become one of the key tools in modern warfare, artillery continues to play a critical role on the battlefield. Therefore, the issue of providing our forces with sufficient ammunition remains urgent. We must accelerate deliveries,” emphasized First Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Sergiy Boyev.
During the talks, the parties addressed the issue of continued funding for the “Ammunition Initiative” and discussed planning for late 2025 and 2026.
