Zoriana Stetsiuk will be responsible for the effective operation and institutional development of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine

The Government appointed Zoriana Stetsiuk as State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. 

In her new role, Zoriana Stetsiuk will head the apparatus of the Ministry of Defence and be responsible for its effective operation and institutional development. 

Key tasks include developing management processes and teams, coordinating the work of structural units, ensuring management continuity, and creating the conditions for the Ministry’s uninterrupted, stable operation. 

Zoriana Stetsiuk has more than ten years of civil service experience. Before she was appointed State Secretary, she served as Director of a Directorate at the Ministry of Defence, where she helped build new institutional capabilities and centers, advance digitalization, transform internal processes, and launch reforms.

Zoriana Stetsiuk has also held management positions in other government bodies. Before joining the Ministry of Defence, she headed the Public Services Reengineering Directorate at the Ministry of Digital Transformation and, from July 2025, served as Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation.

Zoriana Stetsiuk’s expertise in legal affairs, compliance, and regulatory drafting will help strong teams work effectively within the Ministry of Defence.
