Ukraine and Canada launch joint production of Ukrainian drones

Ukraine and Canada are expanding defense industrial cooperation through a new project to manufacture Ukrainian unmanned systems in Canada.
Production of Ukrainian drones in Canada
The project provides for the launch of production of Ukrainian reconnaissance drones in Canada. The drones produced under the project will be delivered to the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
The agreement to this effect was signed by representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Department of National Defence of Canada.
Under the agreement, a new joint venture, Airlogix-Sentinel, is being established between the Ukrainian defense technology company Airlogix and the Canadian unmanned systems manufacturer Sentinel Research and Development.
Supported by the governments of Ukraine and Canada, the project will accelerate the delivery of equipment for intelligence gathering and operational planning to Ukrainian service members.
A win-win partnership for Ukraine and Canada
Joint production with Ukraine also creates opportunities for Canada. This includes expanding Canada’s manufacturing capacity in critical technologies and gaining access to effective solutions developed for modern warfare.
Ukraine and Canada will continue to work on joint solutions that serve the security interests of both countries as part of a win-win partnership and Ukraine’s defense strategy.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine expresses its gratitude to Canada for its consistent support and commitment to developing practical defense projects.
