Tracked infantry assistant: New ground robotic system authorized for operational use in the AFU

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has codified and authorized the Ukrainian-made MURAKHA unmanned ground robotic system for operational use within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the MoD’s Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment.
MURAKHA is a tracked robotic system designed to support infantry units in challenging battlefield conditions, including operations under enemy fire and in mined frontline areas.
Despite its compact size, the MURAKHA robot is among the top performers in payload capacity, as it can carry over half a ton of cargo across dozens of kilometers.
Thanks to multiple control channels, the system maintains operational capability even in areas under enemy electronic warfare (EW) influence. This ground robotic system’s mobility capabilities enable it to traverse rugged terrain and ford small water obstacles.
A reminder to defense equipment manufacturers: helpful information on the procedure for codifying new models of weapons and military equipment is available here.
