Total russian military losses on March 5, 2026: 950 personnel, 1,609 UAVs, and 45 artillery systems.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the estimated total russian war losses from 24.02.22 to 06.03.26 inclusive are as follows

Personnel:

• approximately 1 271 350 (+950) persons.

Armored vehicles and automotive equipment:

• tanks ‒ 11 734 (+7);
• armored fighting vehicles ‒ 24 148 (+6);
• special equipment ‒ 4 080 (+1);
• vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 81 642 (+208).

Artillery and air defense assets:

• artillery systems ‒ 37 960 (+45);
• MLRS ‒ 1 669 (+2);
• air defense assets ‒ 1 320 (+1).

Air targets:

• aircraft ‒ 435;
• helicopters ‒ 349 (+1);
• UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 159 990 (+1 609);
• cruise missiles ‒ 4 384.

Naval assets:

• warships and boats ‒ 30;
• submarines ‒ 2.
