The State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT) is set to be certified in accordance with international anti-corruption standard

The DOT initiates the certification process in alignment with the international standard ISO 37001:2016, which governs the framework for anti-corruption management systems.

This standard is essential for enhancing the company's anti-corruption efforts and ensuring transparency in the processes related to the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The audit will be conducted by PECB Ukraine with the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), the leading program funded by the European Union and co-funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

Beginning in October 2024, the audit will unfold in two stages: first, the auditors will scrutinize the documentation and operational processes in place, and then they will assess the effectiveness of the current risk management system.

Upon completion of the audit, the expert opinion will be submitted to the headquarters of the certifying body, PECB Group Inc. If a favorable verdict is reached, the DOT will receive a certificate confirming its adherence to ISO 37001:2016 standard.

“Obtaining the ISO 37001:2016 certificate will confirm that we comply with the world's best anti-corruption practices. This effort aims to build stronger trust with both foreign and local partners while also advancing the integrity of the supply processes for the Armed Forces to a whole new level,” said Dmytro Bihunets, Director of Risk Management and Compliance at the DOT.

According to him, the successful certification will confirm the DOT’s compliance with international anti-corruption standards and promote trustworthy cooperation with partners.
