The Ministry of Defence regained possession of the land plot that will be used for military training
Following the Ministry of Defence's request, the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre restored possession of the land, valued at UAH 16 million, to the MoD.
The 130-hectare plot of land located in the Ternopil region. Back in 1961, this territory was allocated to the military for use as a training area.
Nonetheless, a state-run organization began functioning in that location in 2013.
Subsequent to prolonged litigation, the Ministry of Defence in 2021 validated its claim to the land plot, mandating the clearance of any obstructions impeding its use.
Nonetheless, unauthorized individuals continued operating within the military town despite the court's decision, even after the full-scale russian invasion.
