The Ministry of Defence implements a digital system to support state quality assurance for defense industry products

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine is actively working to digitize the defense procurement system. As part of this process, an information and communication system to support state quality assurance of defense industry products is currently under development.

The new digital system is designed to enhance the transparency of defense procurement and strengthen confidence in domestic manufacturers of weapons and military equipment.

This technological solution is also essential for addressing the following key objectives:

• Automating and standardizing state quality assurance procedures, and enhancing transparency in the implementation of quality assurance procedures;
• Improving the efficiency of planning, coordination, and oversight of state quality assurance processes.

The public section of the new digital system has already been launched in test mode on the Ministry of Defence website, in the Activities – Procurement section.  Users can access information on:

• The key areas and mechanisms of the state quality assurance system;
• The applicable legislative framework governing state quality assurance;
• The NATO AQAP series standards, adopted in Ukraine as military standards.
