The Ministry of Defence has adopted ‘bomber’ drones

The Ministry of Defence has codified and adopted the domestically produced В-1 unmanned aerial system for deployment within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the MoD’s Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment.
The B-1 drones are ultra-lightweight ‘bombers,’ designed to strike concentrations of enemy personnel, automotive equipment, armored vehicles, and military targets, both on the front lines and behind enemy lines.
The drones of this system can carry a variety of ammunition types. The UAVs are powered by a low-noise, high-performance engine. This ‘bomber” can remain airborne for several hours. The drones of the B-1 system exhibit enhanced resistance to enemy electronic warfare measures. A notable feature of the system is its quick deployment and retraction, which lowers the risk to the crew during operations.
A reminder to defense equipment manufacturers: helpful information on the procedure for codifying new models of weapons and military equipment is available here.
