The Ministry of Defence authorized a weapon station with a grenade launcher for operational use

The Ministry of Defence has codified and authorized the SHABLYA MK19(M) remotely operated weapon station for operational use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the MoD’s Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment.

The SHABLYA MK19(M) weapon station is designed to engage targets using a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher. The system integrates with both ground robotic systems and transport vehicles. The weapon station can deliver both direct and indirect fire and strikes on enemy positions by coordinates from concealed firing positions.

The system can be operated by a single operator.
